Daytrip to the Priorat wineries
The hidden gems of Spanish wine
Connoisseurs started becoming interested in this secluded Catalan wine area some years ago, and the mass public is just starting to hear about it now. The slate and quartz soil of these terroirs produces wines of a strong personality and surprising beauty. The sharpness of its rocky landscape adds value to the trip.
Come discovering with us the cellars that one day will be as famous as the ones in La Rioja…
Our tours are private tours for your party only. No strangers joining your tours.
We work with a selection of small family owned award-winning wineries. But if you have a favorite brand that you would be interested in visiting, we are open to organizing your custom tour there (as long as they accept visitors).
Kosher cellars available on request.
Distance from Barcelona: 2 hours drive.
Accessibility: Steps involved at the cellars.
DID YOU KNOW... “Licorella” is the name of the special slate and quartz soil that confers to the Priorat wines their characteristic mineral flavor?
