ON THE WAY TO TARRAGONA:

We can stop at the Roman Aqueduct of Les Ferreres and maybe at the Stone Quarry of the Mèdol to start getting introduced to the Roman past of our land.

WHAT CAN WE DO IN TARRAGONA:

• The basic Roman visit would include: a walk along the Roman city walls, the ruins of the Provincial Forum, the Praetorium Tower, the Circus and the Amphitheater (inside or outside)
• The Cathedral with its Museum (inside or outside).
• The Archaeological Museum (inside visit: 1 hour).
• Drive to the Mausoleum of Cent-Celles and visit (1 hour).
• Explore other Roman Ruins off the beaten path, such as the colony forum or the necropolis.
• Beachtime!
• Lunch by the seaside or in a local restaurant in the Old Town.

ON THE WAY BACK TO BARCELONA:

Depending on our timing, we can also stop for a picture of the Tower of the Scipions and the Arch of Triomph, on request.

Distance from Barcelona: 45min drive.
Accessibility: Easy (some uphill and some steps that can be avoided if necessary).
