SOME SITES CLOSED:
Sunday: There’s no farmers market in Blanes.
November through February: During the low season a lot of restaurants and shops are closed. The area is much less livelier, and the weather can be chilly.
- DAY TRIP LENGHT:
Half day tour: 6 hours.
Full day tour: 8 hours. - RECOMMENDED STARTING TIME:
Half day tour:
10 to 11AM if you choose to stay there for lunch.
8 to 9AM if you prefer to be back to Barcelona for a late lunch on your own.
Full day tour: 9AM. Starting time isn’t flexible. - WHERE DO WE MEET? WHERE DO WE END? Anywhere you want, within the Barcelona city limits.
- IS THERE A LUNCH STOP? Yes (except early departure half day tours).
- HOW DO WE MOVE AROUND? Rides in Mercedes car or minivan for up to 6 of you + guide & dedicated driver. Walking around the stops in Costa Brava.
- HOW DOES THE NON-GUIDED OPTION WORK? If you book the non-guided option, you’ll have an English-speaking driver for the rides, able to provide light conversation but not detailed explanations of the sites. You’ll also walk around at the sites on your own. You’ll be responsible of being back to the car at the time designated by us, or you might incur in extra hours.

This one day trip from Barcelona works great for anyone that enjoys a day by the sea and wants a relaxing day without a lot of history or deep explanations but lots of beautiful landscapes and (maybe) some beach time. It works best in the warmer months (Easter through end of September).
If you are traveling with kids, this Costa Brava day trip is very child-friendly. Let us know if you wish to have some beach time, so we can time your tour accordingly (and remember to bring your swimsuits and towels!).
If you have walking issues or use a wheelchair, most seaside villages are accessible – except that you won’t be able to climb the fortified hill in Tossa de Mar (but will still see it from the beach).

This is a 100% private Costa Brava day trip from Barcelona, exclusive for you and your party. There is a base rate total per tour (no matter how many people you are), plus a per person rate to cover the entrance fees.
