Are you looking for a 4 star hotel in Barcelona?
Our favorite 4 star hotels in Barcelona!
The Barcelona 4-star hotels offer a great combination of luxury and good prices, at least, compared to the 5-star Grand Luxe… What you save on your hotel room, can be spent in other treats such as a beautiful meal, a private guided tour, a massage or a visit to a spa…
Check out the top Barcelona 4 star hotels, and why we like them:
Pulitzer. An awesome combination of everything you need in a urban hotel: super centrally located around the corner from Plaça Catalunya, la Rambla and Passeig de Gràcia, classy decoration that combines vintage and modern touches, cool rooftop terrace overlooking the city, friendly drink bar… and even rental Brompton bikes to move around the city like locals do!
Murmuri. A trendy boutique hotel around the corner from the fancy shops of Passeig de Gràcia and one block from Gaudí’s La Pedrera. There are plenty of lovely food options in the area too, and the street is quieter than the other around as there isn’t as much traffic.
Villa Emilia. Modern and comfortable, that’s a good choice if you prefer to stay away from the touristy areas and get a feel of the real Barcelona: it’s located in an area where locals live and work, but only a couple of subway stops or a short taxi ride from the city center.
Neri. For those looking for a romantic setting, there is nothing better than this. Lovely Relais&Chateaux in a side alley of the Gothic Quarter neighboring the Jewish Section. It also has a cozy rooftop with hammocks, bushes and a bar open in the summertime.
Montecarlo. Also located in la Rambla, it stands out for its familiar and personable dedication to their clients. The architecture of the turn of the (20th) century is mixed with the conveniences of modern life. PERMANENTLY CLOSED

1898. Located in the heart of La Rambla, we love its colonial style with subdued light, and in the summer, enjoying its rooftop bar overlooking the Old Town (probably the best rooftop bar of a 4 star hotel in Barcelona). And you can get a mojito anytime at their bar in the lobby, too!
