Fun Restaurants Near Camp Nou

You are likely to need to find restaurants near Camp Nou, no matter if you are visiting or going to a match: visiting takes at least a couple of hours, plus the time it takes you to get there and back to the city center, so you are likely to be there around meal time. And the same goes if you are attending a match, as it’s best to arrive early and it’ll be late by the time it’s over.

Frankfurt Pedralbes
I remember when I was a kid some Summer evenings my parents would bring me and my brother here for dinner. The place was busy with people, but we’d manage to find a spot around the bar counter and start reading the sausage menu: there were so many to choose from! We’d order a couple each, and watch the waiters shout orders to the guy in charge of the grill.
They were always nice to us, despite being so busy. It was fun to watch the other people there eating their sausages, too. Some would order and take them out and eat them by the cars parked outside, or take them home. It hasn’t changed: it’s still packed with locals and has the same fun atmosphere. And if you prefer a quieter place to enjoy your German-style sausage sandwich from Frankfurt Pedralbes, around the corner they have another venue with the same menu, plus some hot cheese sandwich additions. It’s some 15 minutes walk from the Stadium.

Tapas 24 Camp Nou
Carles Abellán is a famous Michelin-Star Barcelona chef that took tapas to a new level. First with the exquisite (and now closed) Comerç 24, then with the very popular Tapas 24 around the corner from Passeig de Gràcia where he aimed at serving high quality traditional tapas in a fun setting, and later with a collection of other great tapas and informal food restaurants in town, each one with its own personality so they don’t look like a franchise.
Tapas 24 Camp Nou is here to bring decent tapas to your soccer nights. Similar to the one in Passeig de Gràcia in style, but with a menu that is maybe a bit earthier: you won’t find here their delicate bikini sandwiches, but pork lard, artichokes when in season, mussels, offal dishes… oh, and their assortment of fried eggs, of course! (Oh My God! The mushrooms and truffle ones!). You don’t need to Camp Nou tickets to access the restaurant.

La Nueva Marquesa
We love the large windows that let in lots of light and the colorful blackboard they use to display the specials of the day. They have high chairs for babies, and it’s wheelchair accessible. The only downside is that they close on Sundays – so they aren’t always an option on a match day.The waiters are charming and caring, and they also have some vegetarian options.

Can Fusté
Another great option for traditional cooking in a seat-down restaurant but maybe a bit more formal, just 5 minutes away from the stadium you’ll find this family-owned Catalan food restaurant open in 1973. They are proud of their cooking, and choose local ingredients with love and respect.
The typical tomato bread (pa amb tomàquet) is never missing in their tables, and we recommend to order some Spanish ham to go with it. Their comfit pork cheek civet stew with caramelized apple is to die for. Their vegetarian friendly options aren’t many, but you’ll love their veggies and mushrooms Parmesan risotto.

They serve high end tapas, but their strength is in their main courses: traditional Catalan fish, meat and rice recipes at prices that honor the extremely high quality of their ingredients.
And they also have a selection of sushi and other raw dishes such as ceviche and tartar (the signature touch of the owners, who also own the famous Espai Cru restaurant in the Hill of Montjuic). But do as I say: order their countryside chicken and foie gras cannelloni: you won’t regret it! It absolutely must be booked in advance.
