District 111, by Unreal

Many escape rooms in Barcelona are set in a post-apocalyptic world

Inspired in the Las of Us TV show, this escape room takes you to a dystopic world where you need to survive the attacks of the rebels. The game is a surprise from the moment the doors open and you are left alone until it's over. The setting is very realistic and fully immersive, and the intensity of the action escalates at you progress through the game. There's some surprising plot twists, and you'll be required to pay attention to your surroundings, make connections and figure out puzzles. There's also parts where you need to destroy props.

The brewery, by Enigmik

This award-winning escape room has been created in collaboration with Estrella Damm, one of the most popular beer brands in Barcelona, whose main headquarters are just one block away. In this game you are tasked with recreating the lost recipe of a special beer that you’ll have to brew. The room recreates a brewery in a very convincing way, and to solve the puzzles you’ll not only have to observe your surroundings and make connections but also measure, pour, mix… Each member of the team is given a specific role, so there’ll be personal moments to shine as well as team work.

CyberCity 2049, by Escape Barcelona

This escape room is inspired in movies such as Matrix, Blade Runner and Terminator. And it has won multiple awards, including best of Spain and Top-5 in the world. A breathtaking cyberpunk display that makes you feel immerse in the story as soon as you step in the room. There’s puzzles to be solved and lots of action, as well as some role playing. The game’s ending is quite open and the experience can be very different depending on how each team decided to interact with it.

The only Barcelona escape room inspired in the world of Harry Potter takes you to the fearsome prison of Alkaban, where you enter as a prisoner and only have one hour to escape or... die on the gallows. You'll encounter magical creatures and will have to perform spells. While the decor, the effects and the AI are quite fascinating, the puzzles aren't too challenging so it's best for inexperienced gamers and families with kids.

The tavern, by The City Escape Room

The resistance wants to defeat the tyrant Neil Parker, and for that it’s key to prove that this family lineage is fake. Enter the Tavern to find out that are the real ancestors of the tyrant. Espectacular start as you enter the set, then the rythm of the action grows as you progress through the different scenes, interacting with props and characters and solving many many puzzles until you reach the explosive finale.

The Secret of Cerda takes you into the real streets of Barcelona, to discover the secrets hidden in the city layout created by Ildefons Cerda in 1856. Solve puzzles and open locks as you pass by some of the local attractions in the Barcelona city center. A great way to explore the city for first time visitors, or to see Barcelona with new eyes if you are a local.

Outline, by Outline Escape Room

Awarded 12th Top Room and 2nd best in Spain, this is a must for any horror lovers. Outline is the name of a factory, apparently haunted by its late owner, and you are hired to rescue a journalist that went in and never came back. The setting is very realistic and you’ll be interacting with actors along the way. Be prepared for darkness, dirt, loud noises and very scary moments. You’ll run, you’ll climb, you’ll crawl, you’ll scream, you’ll feel lost at times. Really thrilling.

LOCATION: Cornella de Llobregat (Barcelona subburb reachable by subway)
THEME: Terror
NUMBER OF PLAYERS: 3 to 8
DURATION: 120 minutes

Poison, by Kadabra Escape

This escape room inspired in Batman takes you to a Gotham City to stop the Joker. The scenery is vibrant, and the atmosphere is playful: joy and laughter are good definitions of the overall experience. Lots of challenges, tasks, locks and puzzles that keep you busy, sometimes individually and sometimes as a team effort.

Catacombs, by Golden Pop

Become Indiana Jones for 90 minutes while you try to find the alchemy stone. This game room is said to be the largest escape room in Spain, and it's perfect for beginners and families with teens. It's fun, it's adventurous but it's not excessively challenging and it's great to spend a good time, specially if you are visiting it with a larger group.
