Best of 2024

What content has been the favorite IN 2024?

As 2024 comes to an end, it’s the perfect moment to reflect on the past year—what resonated, what stood out, and what made an impact. Continuing a cherished tradition at ForeverBarcelona, I’m excited to share our roundup of top blog posts and tours. If you’ve been with us for a while, you might enjoy seeing what others have loved most. And if you’re new here, this list is a fantastic introduction to some of the highlights you may have missed. So, let’s dive into the most popular content of 2024!

We publish a blog post per week, and that means 52 posts per year! It’s not easy to come up with 52 interesting subjects to talk about, specially when we have already over 500 posts published. So this year we’ve been rewriting old content that had become dated, as well as creating new content as well. We are happy with the results! So let’s see which have been the most visited posts in 2023:

Our post about How to say Cheers in Spanish has finally climbed to the first place, and the post about the Sagrada Familia towers has switch to 2nd place. The post on Sport Bars to watch soccer has jumped from #6… to the third position! Wow! And Tipping in Spain has entered the list heading straight to #4. So that means that Things to do on Sunday and Las Ramblas restaurants are pushed down to 5th and 6th place. Instead, our 5 Day Barcelona Itinerary climbs from 9th to 7th position, and we have the Chicken Recipes enter the ranks directly to number #8, followed by another new addition: our guide to the Boqueria Market, ranking #8th. These two have pushed Spanish Siesta to the 10th place. Picasso’s children and the Meaning of Dali’s paintings have fallen from the top-10.

Most visited tours

You might already know that ForeverBarcelona isn’t just a travel blog—we’re also a private tour company! 2023 was an incredibly busy year, with our guides hard at work sharing the city with guests day in and day out. Wondering which tours were our best sellers? Let’s take a look!

And this year there’s a surprise: the four first positions have remained exactly as they were in 2023. It must mean we are doing a great job at these tours! They are of course our Gaudi Tour, our Montserrat Tour, our Sagrada Familia Tour and our Tapas Tour. Next, the Tour of the Gothic Quarter has climbed one position to #5, switching spots with our Tour by Car which goes down to 6th place. Our Food tour falls to the 10th position, what means that our Walking Tour and our Shopping Tour go up to 7 and 8th position respectively. And our Jewish Tour enters the list straight to number 9.
