Arrival to the city. Your Tarragona sightseeing starts with a walk along the gardens of the Roman Walls overlooking the Camp de Tarragona valley, then takes you into the alleys of the Old Town, passing the Tarragona Cathedral.
If you are interested, we can show you the inside of the Cathedral and its museum (approximately 30min), or we can skip it to have more time for the other Roman sites.
Your Tarragona tour continues exploring the ruins of the Provincial Forum, and if you are interested, passing the Arches left from the Medieval Jewish Section, on our way to the Praetorium Tower. The Tower offers some impressive views over Tarragona, and is also the access to the Roman Circus. We can take you inside, or if you prefer, we can see both just form outside. After that, we’ll head to the Tarragona Amphitheater. If you aren’t too tired yet, we strongly recommend visiting it – but it can also be seen just from the distance.
