Visit a very special Barcelona Art Gallery during your tour

A contemporary art gallery in the heart of the Old Town

Barcelona Art Gallery near La Rambla[icon color=”#D96A20″ size=”18″ type=”icon-lock” unit=”px” ] The visit to this Barcelona mordern art gallery is NOT a tour, but an extra option to spice up your Barcelona tour or extend it a bit longer.

You’ll be taken to this modernist apartment in Plaça Reial, an animated plaza with palm trees and fountains off la Rambla, housing a Barcelona modern art gallery actively committed to the history and the social issues of the area.

You’ll be shown their collection of contemporary art pieces, and as a plus, you’ll also learn about Ocaña, a bohemian artist from the 70’s who lived in that precise building. It’s not easy to describe this naif painter: anarchist, controversial, histrionic, bisexual, transvestite, showman and devote of the Asunción Madonna… Simply fascinating.

At the end of the visit you’ll be offered a drink.

You will NOT be pushed to buy anything (otherwise, we wouldn’t have accepted to collaborate with them!). But of course, if you are into art and wish to make a purchase, you’ll be welcome to do it.
