The holidays are time for action, specially if you are traveling in the summer with the good weather. And Barcelona is a big sports city: we had the Olympic Games in 1992, and everyone knows that the best soccer team in the world is the FC Barcelona (sorry Real Madrid followers!). GO BIKING

How fun is it to go on a bike ride? Barcelona is a very bike friendly city, with miles and miles of bike lanes. Locals use them a lot! But you won’t be able to use the public bike system Bicing, as it is for residents only. Instead, you can join one of the many bike tours in town or rent your own bike and explore the city by yourself. Here are a few great ideas:

HIKING & CLIMBING

Hiking is a great way to connect with nature and enjoy being outdoors. And the mountains around Barcelona are the perfect place to do that, from the Collserola hills to the rocky Montserrat Mountain or the impressive Pyrenees.
