Barcelona Architecture

Barcelona is a city for architecture lovers. Antoni Gaudi put it in the map with his breathtaking buildings, and his colleagues and competitors contributed to propagate beauty around the city. But that’s not all: the Middle Ages left us a grand legacy of Gothic buildings (and in a smaller extent, also Romanesque) that are jewels worth admiring, too. And in more recent years, the city has attracted world-famous architects who have left us signature buildings to prove that Barcelona hasn’t remained in the glory of the past but continues to go forward. In this tag you’ll find all our posts about local architecture. For more specific time frames or styles, check the tags dedicated to each period.
