Barcelona Gothic Quarter

The Gothic Quarter is the central area of the Old Town of Barcelona, located between La Rambla and Via Laietana avenue, topped by the Eixample district and bordering the Port Vell pier. This is the most historical district of Barcelona, where the Romans founded Barcelona, and where some top Gothic structures were built in the Middle Ages. Besides seeing the Gaudi sites, this is the other area of the city where anyone should go and get lost in its atmospheric alleys. In this tag you’ll find all our blog posts about the area, so planning your visit is super easy. Enjoy!
