A 4-Star Superior hotel, it’s the most luxurious accommodation you’ll find in this area, since there’s no 5-star hotels within walking distance. And while it lacks of a business center to work independently, it does feature 10 well equipped meeting rooms where your team will be able to plan their strategies and share their advances.

As a downside, it doesn’t have a business center.

A convenient option for small teams up to 6 people who prefer to feel at home rather than stress with the hassle and buzzle and rules and schedules of a business hotel, and that are looking for opportunities to spend more time together for real team building. The fully equipped kitchen makes it also perfect for business people with special dietary needs that need full control of their meals.

Ona Living Barcelona
Similarly, the Ona Living is a better choice for individual attendees with or without their spouses, rather than teams, since they only offer 1-room apartments. Their colorful design makes it feel less serious than the Fira Gran Via by Barcelona4Seasons, but they are also a bit smaller and simpler.

This hotel is great place to stay if your company is committed to sustainability, as the hotel is a green hotel certified by Bureau Veritas. They have 6 rooms for meetings and events, and one internet corner (but no business center).

Renaissance Barcelona Fira - 4 stars
It’s hard to believe that something that over a map looks so close, it’s actually 10 minutes walk from the Mobile World Congress Barcelona main entrance. But the truth is that the many street lights you’ll encounter to cross Gran Via avenue will slow you down. Run by Marriott, when you book it make sure you book the Renaissance hotel that has the word “Fira” on its name: there’s another Renaissance Barcelona hotel in town, that is very centrally located to explore the city, but much further away from the MWC.
The hotel features 11 rooms for events and 7 rooms for informal meetings, even if it doesn’t have a business center. And we love that it has an indoors heated pool and jacuzzi to relax after an exhausting day at the Congress.

AC Som by Marriott - 4 stars
The AC Som is a quite place to stay similar to the SB Plaza: both 4-stars and the Som located just a few feet away, on the same street. It features one large room for events and 7 rooms for meetings, but no internet corner nor business center. Its strong point is the Lounge with a drink bar that makes it perfect for informal networking. BTW, beware when you book it and do not confuse it with the AC Som motel in Terrassa, way further away and of a lesser category, and that to make things even more confusing is located on the Hospitalet de Llobregat Road (while AC Som by Marriot near the MWC is located in the TOWN of Hospitalet de Llobregat).

Eurohotel Barcelona Gran Via Fira - 4 stars
Still within a quite walkable distance (around 12 minutes and also on a straight line), the people staying at the Eurohotel Barcelona Gran Via Fira may also want to consider taking one of the many buses stopping around the corner to get to the Mobile World Congress. It’s only 2 stops, but on a cold or even rainy day it can be worth it. Or alternatively it’s only a 5 minutes taxi ride (if traffic permits a normal speed). Its indoors heated pool make it an appealing choice if you are anticipating a busy and stressful agenda and will appreciate a repairing and refreshing bath at the beginning or the end of your day. No business center, but 5 meeting rooms.

Travelodge Barcelona Fira - 3 stars
The Travelodge Barcelona Fira is where to stay for individual visitors or teams with a limited budget. The hotel is located in the back of the main MWC Barcelona venue, and the walk around it to the main access is around 12 minutes. There’s no public transportation alternative, and a taxi ride is some 4 minutes. The hotel is modern and clean but basic, and there’s no meeting rooms nor business center.

Easy Hotel Barcelona Fira - 1 star
And for tighter budgets, the Easy is still a very acceptable choice, very basic but clean and modern, too. It’s a 12 minute walk (it’ll take you a bit longer if you decide to go through the Gran Via 2 shopping mall, but it’s more entertaining). Or you can take the FGC train from Ildefons Cerda to Europa | Fira. It’ll only spare you 2 minutes, but it may be a good idea to save your energy in the mornings for the long day that awaits you at the Mobile. A taxi is 6 minutes approx.
