We were only in Barcelona for a day and a half. We hired Begoña of ForeverBarcelona tours for a city walking tour. We toured all the high points covered in Rick Steves Barcelona City Guide: Roman tombs, hospital where Gaudi died, the Catalan language center, the Raval section, Jewish Quarter, Roman temple of Augustus, Plaça de Sant Jaume, avenue of Discord, Casa Batllo. She took us to a local restaurant away from the touristy areas. After lunch we took a taxi to Park Guell and Sagrada Familia, the famous Gaudi church. Begoña knew so much about this place which is beyond words. What a high point to end the 8 hour tour! I highly recommend a tour of this type whether you are short on time or not. Having someone show you the city and explain the history politics and people and bypassing all the lines with timed entrances is worth the money paid.

Fab all-day tour with Miriam. Private tours in Barcelona are expensive, but it was so worth it. I had been to Barcelona before, but I felt that I had never really been there at all after our all-day experience. Her explanations and unhurried style were priceless in helping us appreciate the city. This was a memorable day that we shall not forget.

The best way to get your bearings in Barcelona! We LOVED skipping the very long lines at Park Guell, La Sagrada Familia and La Pedrera. We were able to see so much in only one day without feeling rushed. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

I booked an 8 hour private tour with ForeverBarcelona because of the excellent reviews I read about it online. I was not disappointed. We were a group of six and we had the most magical day.

This tour was excellent. We saw Barcelona in 8 hours, we had lunch at a restaurant that the tourguide Sandra took us and it was delicious. Sandra was amazing.

Excellent private full day tour in Barcelona! After experiencing many private guides around the world in 3 decades, many are very good, but only a few stand out as the best of the best! Miriam is one of those. She was so enjoyable and informative, it was like having one of your best friends show you around! It was a fairly expensive day, but this was one of those instances you should absolutely get what you pay for, and then some! Absolutely recommended!

We had an excellent full day walking tour with Javier where he took us to many amazing sites that we would not normally be able to see on a regular group tour.

The 8 hr walking tour was very interesting. The morning was spent around the Gothic Quarter seeing a Roman cemetery and La Boqueria. Lunch as another set of delicious tapas and the afternoon was spent in the newer parts of Barcelona and the Gaudi buildings. Never having been to Barcelona before, I really feel now as if I have seen the city and have a newly found appreciation for Gaudi. Marta has clearly spent a great deal of time and energy on coordinating these tours. She knows the best times to be at particular locations. Even so, the tours are also flexible so that if you want to spend extra time at the Cathedral (for instance), it is no problem. I would highly recommend these tours to anyone visiting Barcelona. They are well worth your time and money.

We did the all day tour of Barcelona, and thoroughly enjoyed the day. The eight hour tour seems long, but when we looked back on what we saw we were all glad that’s the one we did.
