Extremely good. Míriam was not only very professional but also very friendly and personal. We were able to see the best of Barcelona in one day – thanks to her. It was a very enjoyable and rewarding experience. Although it might be considered expensive, to see a completely new city without knowing the language would be a daunting task, and Miriam gave us a local’s view of the best of Barcelona – it was money well spent.

Our group of 4 newcomers to Barcelona chose the all-day walking/chauffeured tour of Barcelona to get a real flavor of the city. Sandra, our tour guide, was exceptionally knowledgeable about Barcelona, and she was very easy to chat with. Both Sandra and the driver made us feel right at home within the first few minutes of meeting. The pace of the tour was great, and we felt we got a first-rate overview of the city during our time together.

The tour was a perfect mix of walking around La Rambla and the Gothic Quarter and then being driven to Park Guell and Sagrada Familia church (a must see!!!). Great experience.

Our family of five just returned from a 12 day Mediterranean cruise on the Disney Cruise Line. The cruise left from Barcelona so we arrived early and booked a full day tour with Marta. What an amazing day! Somehow she managed to keep my wife and I, as well as our kids (18, 13 and 9) amused and entertained as she revealed to us the wonders and amusements of Barcelona. We started with a walking tour of the old city and eneded with a driving tour of Gaudi’s Barcelona. In between we saw churches, ate gelato, saw Picasso’s work, ate gelato, and explored the food markets (did I mention the gelato?). If you will be in Barcelona and really want to see it with a local who will ensure that you get the most out of your time – and have a great time doing it – you need to call Marta!!

We spent a full day with Javier after having booked a half day walking / half day car tour. It was worth every penny! Our tour was extensive, including a few hours walking around the Barri Gotic and hearing about its long history and also learning great tidbits about Catalan and Spanish culture. After lunch, we met our driver and toured the harbor area, Montjuic and the crown jewel of Barcelona – the Sagrada Familia. We ended with a drive by of some famous architectural buildings in the city. We have a family of 5, children aged 11-14 and the combination of walking/driving and the sites we visited was ideal. Great tour!

Bego met us at our hotel in the morning for the half day walking / half day driving tour. We started our day at Sagrada Familia and were blown away! We walked around the city in the morning, stopping for a glass of wine and tapas at the beautiful fresh market, then were picked up by the driver to continue our sightseeing to Montjuic, Park Guell, Olympic city and more. Definitely one of our best memories of our trip to Europe.

We had an 8-hour tour with Miriam. We had a walking tour in the morning of "old" Barcelona following by a tapas lunch and then a "chauffeured" Gaudi tour in the afternoon. GREAT experience!!! Miriam was very knowledgeable, very accommodating, and extremely friendly. Top notch!! We were a group of 4 (ages 60-65) and their Mercedes van (which we used on all 3 days) was extremely comfortable and able to accommodate our large amount of luggage very easily. Marta was my contact and she was very easy to work with, very prompt and very detailed. She always kept me in the loop and made me confident that I had chosen the right tour company. Would highly recommend Forever Barcelona and if we were in Barcelona again I would definitely use their services. They made this trip very memorable and gave us an amazing overview in the short time we were there!!

Javier knew we had one day to see the highlights of Barcelona. He put us on the move. First half by foot, then by limo after lunch. He kept checking in to see how we liked the pace. He moved quickly when needed to keep us on schedule, and then took it back a notch when he knew we were enjoyiong something (e.g. we spent extra time in the market which was a highlight!). Seeing a major European city in a day might not be ideal, but its all the time we had. And Javier got it done! Two thumbs up!

We were actually in Barcelona for three days but had planned two full day excursions outside of the city. I booked a private guided tour through ForeverBarcelona to ensure our time in the city was well spent, and indeed it was! Miriam met us at our apartment right on time and took us to the waiting car and driver. We started by going up Montjuic to appreciate the view of Barcelona and from there we continued on to Sagrada Familia. Apart from the benefit of skipping the long queue in excruciatingly hot temperatures, the benefit of a guide, and Miriam in particular, was the information and explanations she provided and the respect she gave to our interests. We made a couple of detours from our planned itinerary as she wanted us to see sights that she thought we might be interested in, such as the old Red Cross hospital which is now a world heritage site. After a visit to Park Guell we left our driver and continued the rest of the day on foot. Following a delicious tapas lunch we went to La Pedrera and then after receiving instructions on what to look for as we passed Casa Batllo, we parted ways with Miriam and made our way back to the apartment – hot, tired and thrilled to have done so much in one day.

My husband and I, along with our two children ages 15 and 11 had an amazing day with Maria Teresa. We experienced a full-day tour of Barcelona with half walking and half chauffeured throughout the city. Maria Teresa took us to see and experience Barcelona from both a tourists perspective but also from a local Catalonian perspective. Areas we toured included: Gothic Quarter, Cathedral (Christopher Columbus came to this cathedral when he returned from Spain from his voyage to the new world. My 11 year old son loved this!), La Rambla, Boqueria Market (this market is amazing and I so wish we had one of these in my hometown. it was bustling because all were gathering their ingredients for their Christmas meals), Eixample District / Passeig de Gràcia, Block of Disagreement & Casa Milà / Pedrera, Park Güell (amazing! a must see), Sagrada Familia church (inside – also unbelievable), Waterfront, Olympic sites. I always recommend hiring a private tour guide when visiting a new city or region. I believe it is so important to know and understand the area, architecture and history. It is important for my husband and I to teach our kids of different cultures and to know what streets we may be walking down or past significant historical sites. Very well done!!

If you have one day in the city, this is the way to go. I didn’t leave with the feeling that I had missed something. I left knowing that I had seen far more than the usual tourist. Thanks so much, Javier!

I highly recommend doing a driving/walking combination tour because the driving portion allows you to see a large number of sights while the walking portion give a very intimate experience with the local culture. After getting into the van, Miriam immediately began sharing her incredible knowledge of Barcelona with us and I knew this wasn’t going to be a typpical sit in a van, drive around and see landmarks at a distance tour. She took us to her favorite places and showed them to us from a very unique perspective. We stopped frequently to get out and see things close up and take photos. The four hours of the driving tour absolutely flew by! There were so many details she pointed out that we would have missed on our own. We were all fascinated with every place we visited. After the driving tour we set out on what the walking tour of the Gothic District. Miriam not only showed us important historical sights, but also took us off the beaten path to show us some great places for local shopping. She led us down the narrow maze of streets and alleys, went into a few shops with us, and patiently waited while we made our selections. Miriam should lead a shopping tour of Barcelona!

We only had a short time in Barcelona and took a one day tour with Pepus. The tour was perfect – we saw a lot but never felt rushed and there was plenty of time to enjoy the places we visited. A highlight was the amazing food he helped us order at lunch. He had many interesting stories to tell us and my two teens had a great time too. We did a part walking / part driving tour which was perfect. The driver was also excellent. We felt like royalty, skipping the lines for all the attractions and enjoying such wonderful treatment!

Miriam led our family in a day tour of the city and it was the highlight of the trip. We started in the morning with a walking tour of the old town and after lunch we had a driver (Victor) pick us up to reach the sights further away. Miriam’s knowledge of and passion for her city and Gaudi’s contributions really helped us all appreciate what we were looking at and made the whole visit so much more meaningful.

When my daughters and I were planning our trip to Barcelona, a business colleague recommended Marta and he was right! We booked a tour with her for our first day and her knowledge and charisma are extraordinary. We had a car and driver with her for the first four hours of our tour, and then she gave us a walking tour of the medieval section which was fascinating. One of our daughters had been to Barcelona many times before and she learned many new things about the city from our tour.
