We were four women traveling for 5 days in Barcelona. We had 3 tours through booked through ForeverBarcelona. The third tour we took with Marta. We drove outside the city to the Dali Museum and Girona. Seeing the Dali through Marta’s eyes was wonderful. She was so knowledgeable and able to look for aspects we didn’t know were there. She also was able to give us tremendous insight into Dali’s life. Girona was a wonderful medieval town and we had a fabulous lunch at a delicious Catalan restaurant. All in all I would highly recommend using Marta and her tour service. They truly made our trip fun and interesting.

We had a great trip to Barcelona with the help of ForeverBarcelona Tours. Each day was perfect! Miriam took us on a day trip to Figueres and Girona. Worth the 90 minute drive! Make sure to add it to your itinerary.

Maria’s knowledge, sense of humor, and beautiful English kept us engaged during our all day trip to the scenic town of Girona and the Dali theater Museum in Figueres. Upon meeting and seeing our priorities, Maria quickly made some calls, adjusted our itinerary and with our day accordingly. She showed us historic highlights and Girona that we would not have known about without her. At the Jewish Museum, we were grateful for her sharing a “non white-washed” version of anti-Semitism in Spain. She encouraged us to recharge in a charming locale before we hit the fantastical theater Museum of Salvador Dali. There, she steered us through the overwhelming collection. Our time driving together was valuable: she briefed as for our sites and answered our questions about contemporary life in Barcelona. More special was her sense of humor and broad life experience that made our time, along with our gracious driver, Jorge, (provided by Foreverbarcelona), a delightful experience. I would hire Maria (and Foreverbarcelona) again in a “Salvador Dali breathing” heartbeat.

We were lucky enough to have Marta be our tour guide for 2 days. Our trip to Girona, Figueres and Barcelona could not have been more enjoyable. Marta was so knowledgeable about the sites we saw from Dali Museum to Gaudi sites.

We just returned from a week in Barcelona & used ForeverBarcelona for 2 of the days. We joined with another couple we were traveling with & hired Marta for 8 hrs to take us to Girona & the Dali Museum in Figueres. Marta hired the driver & van too. She was absolutely wonderful in every way: knowledgeable, outgoing, efficient. If money was no object, we would have hired her for the entire week!

Javier took 4 of us on three wonderful days in Barcelona – an overall driving trip around the city, a walking tour which included various Gaudi attractions and a drive to the Dali Museum and Girona. Javier’s insight to Dali explained (as much as possible) much of the craziness of this unbelievable artist. We will always remember this fantastic experience.

Figueres and Girona are Fabulous with Miriam! From start to finish our tour with Míriam was spectacular. We were traveling with a tour company and came early to see the Dali Museum which was not included in our tour. Traveling with Miriam made us realize that the possibility of traveling with our guide could open up unlimited possibilities with a local perspective. Her knowledge of Art, History, Politics and Human nature that she brings to the conversation is transforming. Traveling with just 4 of us, allowed multiple questions that cannot happen in a large group. Me and encouraged our banter and we are better informed because of her. She has our highest recommendation. Her energy is boundless.

We did the Figueres/Girona with Begoña. She and our driver were on time picking us up and returning us to our hotel. Begoña did a wonderful job telling us about Barcelona and the surrounding areas we passed through along the way. The tour of the Dali Museum as fun and educational. She expertly guided us around the building, pointing out things she liked and elaborating on things we had questions about. I am convinced that she is the perfect person to visit the museum with. She knows a lot about the works we saw and shared some interesting facts about Dali and Gala that we did not know. The town of Girona was charming.

Our day with Miriam was absolutely amazing. I booked a private tour for our family of 6 adults with Foreverbarcelona to the Salvador Dali Museum in Figueres and then Girona. Miriam arranged an incredible day for us. Our driver, Jorge, drove us with ease and come forth in an immaculate Mercedes van while Miriam connected us with a network of headphones so that travel time was informative. Miriam is fun to be with, a great storyteller and specially she’s so knowledgeable about the history of the region and Salvador Dali. We learned about Dali and Gala and gain insights into the Dali’s works of art that we would never have seen without her knowledge. The museum is vast, demonstrating the masterpiece of Dali genius and range, impossible to navigate without expert guidance. We then went to Girona for lunch at the local Catalan restaurant. What a treat! We savored a delicious lunch sampling many local specialties. Our next stop was the historic center of Girona. While enjoying the extensive history of the town, we walked the history Jewish quarter and the setting for the Game of Thrones. Heading back to Barcelona in the van, we all agreed it that our day with Miriam exceeded all our expectations. Her knowledge of history and art is impressive and her passion for Barcelona and its Catalan heritage left us with a new appreciation for the region. From start to finish, we experience the best tour with the best guide. We enjoyed every minute of our day with Míriam.
