Reviews of our Montserrat & Barcelona Day Tour

We hired Marta and Miriam to take our large family group on a morning tour of Montserrat and an afternoon walking tour of Barcelona. They were fabulous. They met us at our hotel a few minutes early with a comfortable motorcoach to take us to Montserrat. As we motored up the mountain, they entertained us with many interesting facts and stories about the history and present circumstances of the area. They worked together to share their information, insights and personal stories. It felt much more like a fun discussion than a boring lecture. We enjoyed the flecibility they allowed us when it came to differing ideas and needs. Miriam entertained my 5 year old daughter when needed and therefore made the experience better for each of us. Afterlunch, we enjoyed a guided tour of the Sagrada Familia. Wow! Do not miss this! Miriam and Marta were amazing guides and commanded the attention of even the youngest members of our group. Through their love and enthusiasm for their hometown, I began to love the city of Barcelona. I cannot wait to return and explore some more.

Our group of six friends had the best full day with Marta from ForeverBarcelona! We met up with her at La Sagrada Familia where she gave us a tour of the outside and the inside. We then headed to Montserrat where we saw the boy's choir and explored the mountain top. Not only did we learn a lot but we had such fun. Marta was so informative and welcomed all of our questions with a smile on her face. If we had done this day on our own we would not have gotten half as much out of it - don't go by yourself - let Marta lead you through the day. We didn't have to worry about a thing and we enjoyed our whole day - highly recommend!

We only had 1 day to explore Barcelona and a friend had recommended “ForeverBarcelona”. We loved the entire day. Javier and a driver picked us up at the cruise port and first we sent to Montserrat. Views and monastery were spectacular. We got to hear the boys choir. Then we dropped out luggage, had a great lunch and proceeded to see so many sights. HIGHLY recommended.

I was worried about touring the city on our own since neither my husband nor I speak English and we needed to make good use of our free time. After checking user reviews, we decided to secure the services of ForeverBarcelona and arranged for Miriam to spend a day with us. It was a great decision! Although relatively expensive, it really was worth it to have our very own private guide and driver. Miriam picked us up at our hotel promptly at 9 in the morning. She took us up into the mountains to visit the monastery and shrine at Montserrat. We came back to the city for a great tapas lunch and then began the explorations of Gaudi. We had our won private driver and a wonderful Mercedes van that was available for us at each turn! We had a great day. Even though there is so much more to Barcelona than we were able to see in a day, we really felt like we experienced the best of the city and left very satisfied with our explorations. I’d strongly recommend ForeverBarcelona if you want more than the general bus tour and really want to see the city from the eyes of a knowledgeable expert and native!

We had just gotten off the plane from Florida when Marta picked us up at the airport to start a day of touring. She took us to Montserrat (don’t miss this!) and then into Barcelona. She wouldn’t let us miss the must see Sagrada Familia. Marta is a wonderful guide – very knowledgeable and easy going. We can’t wait to get back to Barcelona!
