CAN WE VISIT THE INSIDE OF PALAU DE LA MÚSICA CATALANA?
The Palau de la Música Catalana can only be visited by joining one of their group tours: if we included it in this tour we'd still have to join one of their group tours and follow the guide around. Our guide could add up a bit to the Palau guide's explanation, in low whispers not to disturb the rest of the visitors, but you wouldn't get a private tour of the Palau or be allowed to walk away from the large group.

TAILOR THIS TOUR TO YOUR UNIQUE NEEDS
This tour has been designed for adults able to walk, with a strong interest in architecture – specially Art Noveau / Modernism. It’s also great for repeat visitors that want to get a deeper insight of the Eixample district.
If you are traveling with kids, this tour can be adapted for them although if they haven’t been to the Gaudi sites yet you’d rather book a Gaudi tour instead.
If you have walking issues, this tour is mostly walking (around 4km or 2.5 miles) with one taxi or subway ride, and very few opportunities to seat. However, it can be turned into a chauffeured tour with frequent stops: only the 4 Gats café (located in a pedestrian area) and the visit of the Hospital of Sant Pau would require some walking.
If you are on a wheelchair, this tour is quite wheelchair friendly: even the subway stations are adapted.
If you’d rather have a longer tour, add one or two extra hours for a longer walk around the Eixample district or to visit the inside of the Casa de les Punxes by Puig i Cadafalch, or the Museu del Modernisme – a lovely collection of modernist furniture, paintings and sculpture.
