CRIPTA GÜELL

The other Gaudi’s unfinished church

In the industrial colony founded by the Count Güell, Gaudí started building a church for the workers of the factory, that was left unfinished. However, nowadays you can still visit its Crypt. Discover the secrets hidden in its symbolism and be admired by its innovative engineering solutions, such as how Gaudi started testing his catenarian arches here, that he’d use later on at the Sagrada Familia church. You’ll also learn about the hard daily lives of the industrial revolution working class.

ARTIGAS GARDENS

River, mountains and Gaudi

12.45PM

Hidden at the foot of the Pyrenees are the Artigas gardens, designed by Gaudí along a mountain river, in a time when he was also working at the Park Güell. He adapted his architecture to the landscape to create an oasis of calm and nature.
