Lidia
lidia INTRODUCES HERSELF
I come from a family that is a mix of Northwestern Spanish and Catalan, something very common in Barcelona. I started my Art History studies in the University of Santiago de Compostela, then studied Logistics with the Open University of Catalunya (UOC). I also studied Tourism and I got my tourguide license in 1993.
After developing other activities such as being a travel agent and being involved in other industries, I’ve been focused on fulltime guiding since 2007. Marta and I met on a training seminar for tourguides a couple of years ago, Marta liked my style and invited me to collaborate with ForeverBarcelona.
I am of restless nature: I like writing, traveling and sharing my passion about Barcelona and Catalonia.
Now I’m living in a town in the suburbs, but I spend most of my time in Barcelona. I’m the proud mother of a lovely little girl, so I don’t need to tell you that I’m great touring with families!

This is why everyone raves about Lidia:
Our trip to Spain would not have been the same without her to guide us.
Lydia is amazing and has the energy to teach you, guide you, and keep your time on point. Best of all, she had the empathy to watch over.my mother who is elderly and was on a wheelchair whenever she couldn’t do steps.
Just what you want in a guide to make a tour what it should be.
Thrilled by the whole experience.
Lidia is an amazing guide. We spent 4 days with her and enjoyed every moment. She is full of historical, artistic, political knowledge and much more. When you are with a licensed tour guide in Barcelona you get special perks. La Sagrada Familia would have been a different experience (not better) if we had attempted it alone. I can’t say enough about Lidia and dealing with Marta at ForeverBarcelona. Simple and pleasurable !
