Fantastic 2 day tour! Great for families & First time visitors! A private tour was a great way to explore all of the sites of Barcelona. Marta was a fantastic tour guide for our family of 5 (2 adults, 3 kids). She is friendly and informative and made our 2 day tour fun for the kids. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TOUR!

My friend, Paige, and I booked 2, 4 hour private tours with Marta at Forever Barcelona. The first day we walked around La Rambla, La Boqueria, the Picasso museum and cover the Born, Jewish and Gothic districts. Marta is very knowledgeable and points out so many things to see along the way. Her English is very good and she gave us many recommendations for other sites to see, coffee, gelato, dining, shopping, etc. Day 2 was a taxi and walking tour of 3 of the Gaudi sites - Sagrada Familia, Park Güell and Casa Milà ( La Pedrera). Her knowledge of Gaudi and our discussions really helped us appreciate these sites on another level. We would absolutely recommend Marta and Forever Barcelona for family, friend and couples tours.

Marta was wonderful and extremely knowledgeable. She created a 2 day custom tour that included everything we wanted to see- from the Gothic Quarter to Sagrada Familia.

We were four women traveling for 5 days in Barcelona. We did two half day walking tours with Javier. We had a day of pouring rain the day we toured Gaudi but Javier was able to make the day interesting and fun. The second day thankfully there was no rain when we toured the Gothic section and the Picasso museum. Javier brought great insight to everything we saw and had a wonderful enthusiasm.

We had two fantastic days with Javier and Marta. We spent the better part of a day with Javier touring Las Ramblas, the old city and the Picasso Museum. he was knowledgeable and easy to be with. We spent the 2nd day with Marta who took us through the Gaudi sights and Sagrada Familia. She is great at customizing the tour to the customers needs and a delightful and warm person. We highly recommend ForeverBarcelona.

We spent 3 days in Barcelona, before and after our Med cruise. We were uncertain whether we should book a private tour or just explore the city on our own. We decided after reading many positive reviews that we would book Forever Barcelona, a 4 hour chauffeured tour on our day of arrival and a post cruise 4 hour walking tour with added time for tapas. It was very easy to book and pay for this tour and they were very prompt in responding to emails. We were assigned Miriam ans were we lucky! We saw many hidden gems that only a licensed guide is allowed to show you in Barcelona but our time spent experiencing Gaudi and eating tapas and drinking some great local wine with her were highlights. Our time in Barcelona was probably the highlight of our whole trip, we traveled with 3 kids 17, 15 and 8 and Miriam made a connection with all of us. The pricing of these tours are somewhat expensive however do not let that stop you from booking these tours, at the end of it all we welt we really did experience Barcelona and the Catalan way of life.

Tona provided two days of terrifically interesting touring, first of all the Gaudi sights and then of the Old City and its various neighborhoods. She is steeped in the history and details of her city and her enthusiasm and warm personality are infectious. We walked a great deal, stopped appropriately to rehydrate and sustain ourselves with coffees and tapas, and easily negotiated the subway and taxis. Tona showed us nooks and crannies, flavors and colors… everything we could have wanted to make Barcelona come alive. She’s a gem and ForeverBarcelona is very easy to deal with.

We spent two mornings with Marta touring the Gaudi sights and then old town Barcelona! She was fantastic with our two children (10 and 13)! Very informative and interesting. I would highly recommend her as a tour guide.

My family enjoyed very much our time in Barcelona – thanks to Marta! We met her for the 4 hour Old Town tour and then the following day for the Gaudi tour. It was fantastic! She really gave us the big picture of the city with an opportunity to focus on the things we were interested in. We felt that she was doing the tour just for us, and that she was excited with us while we were admiring the beauty of the city.

We did the 2 half day tours with Maria Jesus. First, she was amazing. She knows so much about the city and is just a lovely person. One day we did everything Gaudi and we learned so much about him. It was really great to learn more about the decisions he made and the ways in which his architecture was unique. On the second day we went to the Picasso Museum (so interesting to learn more about his early life), walked through the Gothic and Born areas (so nice to learnmore about these areas and get recommendations on where to stop and what to check out), and we went to the Boqueria Market. the market can be overwhelming, so it was nice to get some pointers on the places where locals like to eat! Overall, the 2 half day tours were just super. We really felt like we got to know the city well!

What an excellent position to book to half day tours with Foreverbarcelona. I went with 2 other friends. Nothing but positive things to say. If we had done either of the tours on our own we would not have learned all that we did. Plus it was so much nicer to feel a connection to Barcelona through people that love to share their city.

Couldn’t have been better! Myself, my husband and 14 year old daughter spent 2 half days with Pepus. he was a wonderful guide, very pleasant and fun to be with. The level of information he provided was perfect for us, and we learned a great deal not only about Barcelona, but about life in Spain as well.

Spent 2 days in Barcelona following a Disney cruise. Hired Marta to show us her city. The first day we did the 4 hr Gaudi tour. Amazing experience. Marta had the day planned and showed us the sites. We were a family group and Marta tailored the tour to hold everyone’s interest. She had so many interesting stories – it made everything come to life for us. She recommended lunch/dinner places for us and marked the map for us so we could navigate the city in our free time. Our 2nd day was spent in the old city. We fell in love with Barcelona this day. Marta showed us the parts of the city that we were interested in – tailoring the tour to our wishes/needs. She even took us shopping when we asked! Very accommodating.

Wonderful introduction to Barcelona. This was our first visit to Barcelona and with only a couple of days we wanted an introduction to the city that would highlight our interests, art, architecture, music, history and food. Miriam was fantastic! Within minutes we felt like old friends and she understood exactly what we wanted to learn about Barcelona. I can’t think of a better way to get to know this fascinating city.

Nancy and I had only two days to see Barcelona and with so much to see, I thought it would be impossible. But Bego organized our time perfectly and we saw it all with a very professional guide.

Our family of four enjoyed two wonderful half-day tours of Barcelona, the first day with Maria and the second day with Miriam. They were both delightful to work with. We walked away with a good foundational understanding of Barcelona’s history and culture. Marta was an excellent guide. Her love of Barcelona was matched by her knowledge. We felt that by the end we had a really good overview of the city and its history. Absolutely loved working with Marta on planning our time in Barcelona. Communication was smooth and easy. Our personal guide, Sandra, was with us both days. Her knowledge and compassion for her job was evident - as well as her love for her home city! We were a group of 3 couples. Marta took us on the Gaudi tour, Bari Gotica tour, and a Tapas tour. We had a ball over the 3 days. 4 of us from California (2 couples), 2 afternoons, 4 hours each, 1 day without driver – the other day with. Flexible enough to give us time to shop but also see sights. Made it a “no brainer” with getting in and out of paid venues much faster and provided history of the area… along with a smile.

After researching tour groups we chose Forever Barcelona as our introduction to Barcelona. We did the 4 hour driving tour on the afternoon that we arrived on an overnight flight from Boston. These locations are far apart and having a driver was the best way to maximize your time at the sites. The next morning we met Javier for the 4 hour walking tour. He shared his passion with us through the big as well as very small things that make Barcelona special. We would strongly recommend Javier for any group and would definitely use him again!!

We booked 2 half day tours after reading many terrific reviews and we are very happy about our decision. We requested a chauffeur service for day 1. With the car, we covered more areas in a limited time. On day 2, Miriam took us to the Old Town and we explored this beautiful section of the city on foot. We enjoyed both tours very much.

We have taken walking tours all over Europe, and prefer a private tour so that we can move at our own pace. We find that it is worth every penny and not something to skimp on. With this in mind, we sought out tours of Barcelona, a city we had both been to several times, but never together. We were taken by Montse (Montserrat) to the Gothic Quarters, la Boqueria, the Roman Ruins, etc, and the following day we went with her to Park Guell and Sagrada Familia and Pedrera apartments. It was like taking a tour with an old friend who wanted to share her version of a favorite city. We thought we knew Barcelona — these lovely “instant friends” showed us how little we knew and made the trip a wonderful success.

My 86 year old mother, teenage daughter and I spent 2 amazing days in Barcelona with Javier from ForeverBarcelona. Our goal was to see Barcelona’s great art and architecture: the Gaudi sites, Picasso Museum and Miro Foundation, and to be able to absorb it all at a pace that would work equally well for each of us (my mother is a spiritedly 86 but benefits of a wheelchair when available). Javier figured it out perfectly. he spent 5 hours with us each day, so that my mother could rest in the afternoons at the hotel and my daughter and I could wander the streets ourselves. Javier’s passion for Gaudi was infectious, and he truly brought the sites to life for us, imparting his deep knowledge in a way that only a serious student of this remarkable architect ever could have. Smart and funny, Javier was a pleasure to spend time with, and his sensitivity to both my daughter’s and my mother’s needs, made our trip incredibly special.

We did two 1/2 day walking tours in Barcelona – The Gaudi Tour and the Old Town – with Begoña and Marta as our guides – it was great!! Barcelona is such a large city so it was wonderful to have a local show us the highlights. They have a wealth of information that makes it all so interesting and more personal! For example, Marta took us to the Picasso Museum and she had stories about Picasso that make the paintings so interesting! You should not go to Barcelona without this tour!!

We recently spent 2 days with Javier in Barcelona touring the Old Town area and learning about the most incredible architect, Gaudi. Javier was incredibly knowledgeable and entertaining. he is well traveled and well read and offered amazing insight. I wish there was a Javier in every city we visited!

My husband, myself and 2 great friends traveled to Spain in June. It was the 1st time to Spain for all of us. Based on what our group wanted to see and do, Marta recommended 2 half day tours of Barcelona… the 1st day a 4 hour chauffeured trip of Barcelona (to get the lay of the land/city) and the 2nd day a 4 hour walking tour. She assigned Miriam to our group of 4 adults. Both mornings, Miriam met us at our apartment, ready to go. I CANNOT say enough wonderful things about Miriam! Her English was wonderful and she is INCREDIBLY knowledgeable and passionate about Barcelona! She was fun, had a great sense of humor, and was very flexible to change a few parts of the morning around to meet our needs. The experiences we had with her, without a doubt, made our trip to Spain! One of the Greatest trips of my life!

We did a 4 hour private walking tour of the old city and Picasso Museum with Lidia. She was easy to understand, very knowledgeable, met us in our hotel lobby, and was overall a delight! Her insights into Picasso’s works in the Picasso Museum were a real treat! The next day, we had a 4 hour private tour of the Gaudi works with Javier. He also met us at our hotel and orchestrated our cab rides around the city to see the sites. his passion for the Sagrada Familia really made the church come alive. he also has a great sense of humor and is very easy to understand.

We were traveling with our teenagers. Before our cruise we had a 3 day stay in Barcelona. Marta helped us with our touring needs and she was truly amazing. The first day we did the walking tour exploring the Old Town (Cathedral, Gothic Quarter…) and the Picasso Museum. The next day we had a tour to cover the best Gaudi sites (Casa Batlló and Casa Milà, Sagrada Familia Church and Park Güell). The transportation was in a mini van with a courteous and a professional driver. She gave us great tips on things to do on our own, vegetarian restaurants and what to watch out for. We had a fantastic time.

We were 3 couples of 6 taking 2 half-day tours in Oct with Javier, in a private van driven by another Javier, before our Mediterranean cruise. We loved both Javier’s because they were the best. Javier our guide is so knowledgeable and wonderful. He led us pass the lines at the Gaudi sites, and were able to use the elevator where others have to use the stairs in Casa Mila, saving time and leg-power. He explained the history and architecture in details and make them interesting that we not only grab but can remember. Javier, our driver, always crisply suited with his sunglasses, provided smooth door to door service in his Mercedes van, making us feel like VIPs.

One additional benefit we had not anticipated when considering private tours was that by touring with a licensed guide, we were able to bypass the long queues for tickets, especially important for the Sagrada Familia. If you are seeking a quality private tour with an articulate, intelligent and enthusiastic licensed guide, you cannot do better than Marta and ForeverBarcelona tours. Our two days with Marta were the best!

We spent two half days with Begonia (Bego) touring Barcelona. The first day was in Old Town. We started in La Rambla before the crowds arrived and were able to see so much. The second day included Park Guell, Sagrada Familia and the Gaudi sights. Bego is very knowledgeable and entertaining in her tours.

Our 2 half day tours with Miriam at ForeverBarcelona were fabulous. Miriam was challenged with 3 very tired kids aged 16, 13 & 6 but she remained engaging and informative throughout our tour and her personalized advice & knowledge imparted added value to our stay in Barcelona. We learnt so much more than we would have if we just toured the sites on our own.

We took 2 half day tours with Forever Barcelona. Both were excellent. I highly recommend both. We did the Gaudi architectural tour with Begonia and she was great. She was very informed about Gaudi's life and architecture. Plus it was wonderful to skip every line during a very busy tourist season. Our second half day tour was with "Maggie" who was also a great guide. We love history and she had a great depth of knowledge to share with us as we went through the Gothic Quarter, El Born and the Picasso Museum.

My husband, sister in law and myself were in Barcelona early in July and only had 3 full days to get to know this wonderful city. Booking 2 walking tours through the Gothic old city, Picasso Museum and Gaudi highlights was the best idea we had. It was not just the tremendous amount of information Lidia told us that we loved but the fact that through the tours we quickly learnt our way around the city and felt really comfortable to find our way and keep exploring after the tours were finished. I recommend booking ahead specially if your holiday time is limited as this is the best value and easiest way to start getting to know this wonderful city.

We had the pleasure of spending two days with Marta. We couldn’t imagine visiting a city such as Barcelona, with such a rich history, without the benefit of a tour. Highly recommend her service.

We took 2 tours: the Gaudi tour and the Old Town tour. For first time visitors, a Gaudi tour is an absolute must — we didn’t know in advance which places would be the most interesting, but having been there, I would have to say the 3 ABSOLUTE musts are the Sagrada Familia (of course), Casa Batllo (every room was incredible), and Park Guell (oh, yeah, go out there, you’ve never seen anything like it). Begoña was extremely knowledgeable about all of Gaudi’s works. The Casa Mila had the best store, so you have to go there as well. The town tour started with walking down La Rambla. We ducked into the Mercado and got a sank, then walked down to the water. Then into the really old part of town, with some Roman ruins, the old Jewish Quarter, many little tiny streets that could barely fit humans, let alone vehicles. The walking was pleasant, as she knew many streets and alleys that were not heavily traveled by tourists. Personally, Begoña was an absolute delight. She was bubbly and enthusiastic, and she really knew her stuff. Overall, by taking these 2 tours we discovered numerous places that we never would have found on our own.

The first day, Javier took us on our tour of Old Town Barcelona. Javier is very personable and knowledgeable, and we enjoyed his company as well as his service. The next day, Lidia took us to the Gaudi sights. We learned a lot and enjoyed visiting Sagrada Familia, Park Guell and La Pedrera. I think we could have stayed for hours in Sagrada Familia, and Lidia would not have exhausted her

We arranged one private tours with Martha in the old sections of Barcelona and then we had another private tours of the Gaudi masterpieces with Míriam. Both guides were wonderfull – highly knowledgeable, energetic and ready to adapt any special requests we had. We’ve used tour companies in many countries and this is a first-rate high-end tour company.

In two half day tours with our informative guide, Marga, we were able to see a lot of the highlights of Barcelona without having to wait in the long lines. From touring Gaudi’s masterpieces and wondering through the old town, we felt pleased to have seen and learned so much in a short period of time. Marga’s passion and love for Barcelona comes through as she shows you her city!

We wanted to cover as much of the city as we could absorb in a two-day period. We were a group of 8 one day for a half-day tour and two groups of 6 for a second half-day tour. Marta managed the itineraries and provided expert commentaries everywhere we went. She and her colleague, Miriam, made our stay in Barcelona perfect!! And they were very flexible in working with us to arrange itineraries that suited our needs. Perfect all around!

Four of us booked two half-day tours with ForeverBarcelona. One day we toured the Gothic Quarter and another we saw Gaudi sites – La Pedrera, Casa Batlló, Park Guell and Sagrada Familia. My husband and I recently toured Barcelona with ForeverBarcelona. We had a 4 hour walking tour with Tona and a chauffeured 4 hours with Javier the next day. We were very impressed with both guide’s knowledge and enthusiasm of their beloved city. If we would have seen the city on our own we would have missed the history, the culture and the dynamism of all that Barcelona has to offer – it certainly helped us fall in love with this amazing city!

The best way to sum up just how good both tours were is to say that my two children are still raving about them and telling their friends too! My whole family has fallen in love with Barcelona, and Javier played a big part in that.

My wife and I visited Barcelona for 3 days in November. Based on tripadvisor reviews, we engaged ForeverBarcelona for two half day chauffeured tours of the City and were very happy we did so. We had Marta as our guide on the first day and her colleague Begonia the next day. They were both knowledgeable, friendly and passionate about showing us all the important sights and sharing the history! We thoroughly enjoyed the tours and felt that the expense was well worth it!

We spent 2 wonderful days with ForeverBarcelona guides. We first did the Gaudi tour lead by Miriam. Her passion for Gaudi and insight into his amazing mind was infections. By the end of the tour she had me professing my love for a man gone since 1926!! Our second tour was of the Old Town, lead by Marta. Her knowledge of the city’s history was so impressive and we learned so much. We spent time in the Call, which is the old Jewish neighborhood, and were very impressed with Marta’s knowledge and insight. She took us around corners and into alleys that we never would have discovered on our own.

Although we had flown to Barcelona to attend the Sant Andreu Jazzing 15 Festival (which we highly recommend), the ForeverBarcelona tours were part of the reason our trip was so interesting. Lidia was our guide for all of our four tours and we found her delightful, informative and organized. Our first evening, Lidia introduced us to tapas and flamenco. The next day, she took us on a spectacular tour of the Gaudi sites. the next day, we explore the Boqueria with her and visited the old city as part of a foodie tour. Several days later, we headed for Tarragona and its roman ruins, followed by a splendid tour of a winery. We were also impressed with the chauffeur service provided for two of the tours.

We had 3 exceptional tours with Javier! We did the two day City Tour and also traveled to Montserrat and Sitges. His knowledge was incredible and he was so personable. It was the perfect way to see this beautiful city and our experience couldn’t have been better!

We had two excellent tours while in Barcelona. One gave us a good grasp of the city at our first day, we were much more confident wondering around on our own after that, going back visiting several places that Begoña suggested. Then the Gaudi tour was excellent as well, saving a lot of time o travel and with line skipping, if your time is limited, this is the only good way to see the sights. The tours were fun and just what we needed, especially with a two years old with us.

We just finished meeting a 2 tour of Barcelona with Miriam — Gaudi tour one day and Gothic tour the 2nd. Míriam made Barcelona come alive for us. There were 10 of us — 4 adults and 6 kids, ages ranging from 5 to 14. Miriam engaged the kids and kept their attention, and she had lots of interesting information for the adults as well.
