Barcelona Born District

The Born district (also called La Ribera) is the eastern part of the Old Town Barcelona, located between the Gothic Quarter and the Ciutadella Park. After the 1992 Olympics it has become what locals consider the “Barcelona SOHO”, with its cool restaurants, shops and cafés. Plus it’s got some very interesting sites such as the Picasso Museum and the church or Santa Maria del Mar. It’s definitely an area that you’ll want to visit at some point during your stay, and to make your planning easier we’ve collected all our blog posts about the neighborhood in this tag. Enjoy!
