This is why staying in one of the best hotels in Eixample district is full of advantages. But choosing a hotel there isn’t that easy: The Eixample is the largest district in Barcelona, and not all the hotels are around the corner from popular landmarks such as the Sagrada Familia, Casa Batlló, and La Pedrera.
For the purpose of this post I’ve chosen hotels that are mostly located along the axe of Passeig de Gracia, which is the center of the district. The closest to Plaça Catalunya, the more central I’ve considered the hotel. But you’ll also find some exceptions, with hotels near Plaça Espanya / Montjuic or near Sagrada Familia, for those travelers that prefer to be further away from the tourist crowds or that are staying long enough in town to not be bother by a bit extra travel time to get from their accommodation to the sightseeing areas.
