Dali Museum in Figueres
Are you a Salvador Dali fan? Would you like to visit not just his famous Theater Museum in his hometown Figueres, but also the other two mansions where he lived? Are you ready for a very exciting (but long) day?
Visiting the Dali Triangle in one day by yourself isn’t just tricky to plan, but also quite exhausting. And it can be dangerous if you have to drive on the way back being so tired. You should choose between skipping one of the sites, or staying overnight. Are these the only options? No!
With our private Dali Museum Tours you spare yourself all the tedious planning and get ready for a full Dali day taking you around the whole Empordà area that the artist cherished so much. And with your private tour guide you’ll learn and understand more about Dali that you would have ever thought.

DALI THEATER MUSEUM OF FIGUERES
Come with us to in Salvador Dali hometown to visit his theater museum. Two hours will feel like one minute inside this great place that looks more like a fun-fair than a museum! Dalí himself designed it, and made of it what’s said to be the largest “surrealist work” in the world. We’ll enjoy some of his masterpieces such as the famous Basket of Bread, but also other less famous yet outstanding paintings: I assure you that your opinion on Dalí will totally change after this visit, as we discover the genius behind the fool!

CASTLE MUSEUM OF PUBOL
Visit the Castell de Pubol, offered by Dalí to his wife and muse Gala. This excursion will take you in a trip into the couple’s privacy, their love, their extravaganzas, their life, and their deaths. Did you know that Dali wanted to be buried in the Pubol Castle next to Gala, and changed his mind last-minute?
ATTENTION: Tour guides are only allowed to give explanations inside during certain time-frames that might vary depending on the season and availability.

PORTLLIGAT HOUSE MUSEUM
Visit the surrealistic Salvador Dali House, made out of restoring and putting together old fisherman shacks. From his bed here, Dali was the first person in Spain to see the sunrise every morning.
ATTENTION: Visits are very restricted and reservation is compulsory. Visitors must arrive 30 minutes before their reservation time, otherwise their tickets will be sold to other visitors. The visit is made in groups under the surveillance of a member of the Museum staff.
Your itinerary will be customized according to the sites you wish to visit and their availability. Early morning departures, late night arriving and little time for lunch (just a sandwich, not a seat-down meal) are common in 10 and 12 hour tours.
The 8-hour tours work well for most people with an interest in Salvador Dali. 10 and 12 hour tours are reserved for people with a STRONG interest in Dali and enough stamina to keep up for long hours and that are OK with long rides.
If you are traveling with children or teens, please stick to an 8-hour tour.
If you have walking issues or use a wheelchair, please bear in mind that there are stairs at ALL the Gaudi sites and elevators aren’t available most of the time (only Púbol is wheelchair accessible).
If you need a shorter tour, our Dali Museum Tour takes only 6 hours.

My wife & I and another couple hired ForeverBarcelona Tour Company for a four day experience in Barcelona and some day trips. We did a 12 hour tour of Figueres, Pubol and Portlligat. For this tour Miriam was our guide and proved to be as knowledgeable of these locales and their associated Dali offerings as Begoña had done in Barcelona. Again Oriol was our driver. We enjoyed these insights gained from these two professionals who obviously enjoyed introducing us to some of their favorite Catalan locales.
On April 11, guide Miriam and driver Pau took us up to the "Dali Triangle" to fulfill my husband's wishes for an all-Dali day (Twelve hours worth! Port Lligat, Figueres, and Gala Castle). From the comfortable Mercedes van, to Pau 's smooth driving, to Miriam knowledgeable commentary, our experience was first class all the way. We returned to Barcelona very tired, but very happy, specially my big Dali fan husband! Many thanks for the excellent service from ForeverBarcelona, and many kudos to Miriam for being such an excellent guide.
