TOURS FOR SENIORS
We have many guests over their 60s. Some are still very active and full of energy, while other move slowly or have walking issues. But all want the explore Barcelona as much as they can and take the most out of their time here. And we are here to help!
When you contact us, make sure to be explicit about your needs and interests, so we can adjust the tours for you. The more you tell us about you (or the seniors in your party), the better we’ll be able to plan your tours and make recommendations.
In the “IS THIS TOUR RIGHT FOR YOU?” section of each tour description you’ll find comments, tips and alternatives that apply to that particular itinerary and will help you decide if it’s the right choice for you. Make sure to check them out before booking.
Also, make sure to bring water with you, and if you need a toilet stop or a coffee break during your tour, feel free to ask your guide. We are there to take care of you!
SENIOR DISCOUNTS AT THE SITES
At some site seniors will be given a small discount as long as they are older than 65. Although in some sites they might ask for a document to certify your age, they rarely will do it – they trust your word… and your face! 😉
Kathy C (Alexandria, Virginia, USA)Miriam instantly felt like a good friend. She tailored her remarks specifically to my Dad’s interest in architecture and Gaudi (the tour was celebrating his 80th birthday) and made sure he had seen everything of specific interest and had all of his questions answered.
HOW TO CHOOSE YOUR TOURS:
Choosing a tour will depend mostly on how long can you keep going, what are your interests and goals for the tour, and your preferred means of transportation.
Don’t try to do more that sounds reasonable for you: go for half day tours if 8 hours non-stop sound too exhausting, and consider using a driver for at least part of the day if you aren’t used to walking, or in the Summer when it’s really hot.
