Best Rooftop Bars In Barcelona

THE BARCELONA ROOFTOP BARS YOU CANNOT MISS

Having a drink in one of my favorite rooftop bars in Barcelona is one of my favorite evening plans in the summer. I love enjoying the city views during the sunset, and the city lights after dark. I love the glamour and the cheerfulness of the crowd, and I love the touch of exclusivity and privacy that being at a rooftop terrace involves. And curiously, they weren’t that popular so time ago… But now the hotels with roof terrace have become the trendy place to go out, and the offer is great.

Today we want to share with you the very best rooftop bars in Barcelona, so you can enjoy the city nightlife, too. We’ve organized them by districts, so you can choose a different view each day, or select them for closeness. And we’ve added other interesting details that will help you make the right choice for you.

La Isabella (Hotel 1898)

View from La Isabela, one of the top rooftop bars in Barcelona, Spain

If there is one reason for locals to come to la Rambla in the evening, it is to enjoy the views from the top of the 1898 Hotel: the belltowers of the Cathedral and Sta. Noxe- Hotel Almanac

Ok, I know… I can hear the purists screaming already: “Noxe is not on a rooftoooooop!”. And I get it: its technically not on a rooftop, but it’s on the 26 floor of the W hotel, which is way higher than most of the rooftop bars we’ve discussed so far. And it’s got a vibe that matches that of a fancy rooftop, even if it’s completely indoors. So it deserves a place in this list! So what do you have here? A chic restaurant, bar and club with panoramic windows with stunning views over the Mediterranean sea. Dress to the nines (a smart casual or fancier dress code is strictly enforced) and watch the chef prepare you a tasty Japanese dinner on their open kitchen. Then head to the bar and order a Japanese cocktail (or a glass of French champagne or Spanish wine) to enjoy the sunset. After 11PM, dance the night away when the restaurant transforms in one of the most exclusive night clubs in the city.
