Well, we’ll give you a couple that are super famous, but we’ll also give you other lesser known options that are suitable for all ages. So if you couldn’t get tickets for the Barcelona home game playing during your trip or if they are playing away, don’t watch it in your hotel room – that’s no fun! We want you to live a real local experience.

Casa de Tapas La Cañota
If you want to watch a FC Barcelona live game but food is also a priority of yours, we strongly recommend to book a table at this Galician tapas bar in Montjuic hill.
They have 4 TV screens, so you can enjoy the match while eating their delicious seafood (get one of their mixed boxes if you can’t decide what to order), traditional tapas such as patatas bravas, Spanish ham, octopuss a feira or croquettes, or go for some “sport watching food” such as their gourmet burgers and chicken wings. The atmosphere is relaxed and family-friendly.

L’Ovella Negra
Are you any good at playing table soccer? Some of the most famous in town are in the Ovella Negra taberns. There’s one very close to La Rambla (their famous original venue with a rustic feel, where any Barcelona citizen has been drinking sangria and beer at least once in their lives), and a much larger supertabern in Poblenou near Marina street.
You can watch the Barcelona game at any of them, displayed on large screen. We recommend to book a table online, otherwise it could be really crowded. They also serve simple foods: sandwiches and toasts with ham and cold meats, olives, patatas bravas, nachos, salads and their all-time meatballs with tomato sauce.
If it’s a very important match (like the one where Barça wins the Spanish league or the Champions), choose the Ovella Negra in Sitges st near la Rambla: you’ll be really close to the Font de Canaletes where the Barça fans will meet spontaneously to celebrate such an important victory.

The George Payne
Here comes a local and foreign young crowd, attracted by its superlong beer list and its wonderful pub food including their award-winning burgers (on a match game you must go for their Messi World Class Burger) and their superhot chicken wings (eat 30 of them in 15 minutes and get them free).
Like this kind of challenges? Then they have a soccer-themed one: the Luis Suarez Big Bite: if you can finish up in 30 minutes a quintuple cheeseburger, a beer pint and a massive platter of fries, you get them free (or fail and pay €35).

Bar Llopart
Looking for a place to get away from the tourist crowds and connect with the real Barcelona life? This neighborhood bar in Sants becomes the most authentic Barcelona sport bar on match evenings. Local fans gather around to celebrate every score chanting following the lead of anyone holding the speaker.
FC Barcelona scarfs and banners hang from the walls. There’s a plasma screen and chairs to watch the game. You can also order some great traditional Catalan food made with products fresh from the nearby Sants market. Made the way my grandma would make it! Plus the beer it’s cheap: only one euro!

Ready to go even more off the beaten path? The district of Sant Andreu has a lot of personality, full of refurbished factories that speak about its industrial past, and interesting corners that make you feel like you were in a village outside of the city.
And in the busy main street of the district you’ll find a cool modernist bar open over 100 years ago serving Catalan food and showing all the Barça matches on their giant screen. A perfect choice to watch the match completely away from the tourist crowds, surrounded by enthusiast locals in a classy and historical setting!
